The beginning
1993 Mark John Stenner forms MJS Security and operates from 4 Armoury Road, Lufton Trading Estate, Yeovil developing an ever expanding client base through personal recommendations. Back when QVC launches the first television shopping channel in the UK. The Queen announces that Buckingham Palace will open to the public for the first time. 1994 MJS Security enrolled with the SSAIB National inspection board. 1995 Mark established its CCTV division, Mark was delighted by the response. Clients wanted CCTV with the proven benefits of local availability, 24-hour cover with the professional personal service MJS provides. 1998 C.I.D Alarm Services was purchased by Mark and incorporated under the umbrella of MJS Security. 1999 South West Alarm Systems was purchased by Mark and incorporated under the umbrella of MJS Security. 2000 MJS Security changed its name to MJS Fire & Security. 2003 MJS Fire & Security changes to MJS Fire & Security Ltd. 2004 Compliance for the Standards and requirements of DD243, the ACPO policy 2006 MJS Fire & Security Ltd embrace the next generation of control and indicating equipment on the Menvier range with upload and download technology. 2007 New website commissioned. 2009 The new MJS external bell box was commissioned with the distinctive shape and logo. 2010 Mark Stenner's father ‘Arthur Stenner’ former Bristol City footballer died aged 76. Arthur Stenner also played for Plymouth Argyle, Norwich City and Yeovil Town. He died at his home in Somerset. 2012 Brings a casual look to the company uniform, gone are the black trousers, white shirt and MJS logo neck ties and in with new navy polo shirts. 2013 The company starts to install and maintain the next generation of New High Definition Digital CCTV with staggering picture quality compared with traditional analogue systems. 2014 MJS Fire & Security Ltd embrace the next generation of control and indicating equipment with the Texecom range. 2017 New premises at Security House, Unit 7, Torbay Trading Estate, Castle Cary, Somerset BA7 7DT and a new telephone system installed for clients making it easy to connect to the correct department. 2018/Present *25 Years later* With Mark still in the driving seat. MJS Fire & Security Ltd takes a face lift! Fresh New look after 25 Years ! Fresh New logo, Same team, Same telephone numbers and the same amazing service. |
